Who We Are

The Mars Backstop Club is the parent support organization of the Mars High School Fightin' Planets Baseball Teams in grades eight through twelve.  Without the generous support of organizations like yours, the Mars Backstop Club would not be in a position to help the student athletes participating on the Mars Fightin' Planets Baseball teams. 

The Backstop Club’s primary purpose is to raise funds in order to provide player training and development, assist with supplemental field improvement projects and to help support the team financially during the year.  In addition, the club provides financial support to send our Varsity and Junior Varsity players on a spring training trip.  Often, the spring trip is the only time our players get an opportunity to practice outside before their section games begin.
